4.1 Ultrasound-guided nerve block in the middle part of the humerus
4.1.1 Position of ultrasound-guided radial nerve block in the middle part of the humerus
The patient was placed in a supine position with the head slightly to the opposite side. The shoulder joint of the affected side was adducted, the elbow was flexing and internal rotation, and the lateral part of the upper arm was fully exposed. The in-plane needle injection technique was often used (see Figure 4). It is also advisable to lie on the side, to the side, and to extend the body naturally. An appropriate amount of sedative drugs should be given before puncture, and a linear array probe is usually used. An appropriate amount of coupling agent should be poured into a sterile plastic sleeve to wrap the probe tightly for use.
