How does marrow puncture needle do

Bone marrow puncture is the most basic diagnostic technique in hematology. You can see changes in the composition of the bone marrow as well as changes in the morphology and composition of the cells. Clinically, bone marrow puncture fluid is often used for blood cell morphology examination, hematopoietic stem cell culture, cytogenetic analysis and pathogen biological examination, etc., to assist in clinical diagnosis, observation of efficacy and prognosis.

Bone marrow puncture is suitable for the diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment follow-up of various blood diseases. Unexplained increase or decrease in the number of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets and morphological abnormalities. For the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of fever of unknown cause, bone marrow culture and bone marrow smear can be used to look for parasites. Bone marrow biopsy should be performed for multiple dry aspirations. Bone marrow puncture is forbidden for hemophiliacs. Late pregnancy women do bone marrow puncture carefully, children and unsuitable authors should not do sternum puncture.
