4. Bone Marrow Puncture (Bone Marrow puncture) is a common diagnostic technology to take bone marrow liquid, its examination content includes several aspects such as cytology, protozoa and bacteriology. Suggestions: Indications 1. Diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment follow-up of various blood diseases. 2. Unexplained increase or decrease in the number of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets and morphological abnormalities. 3. Diagnosis and differential diagnosis of fever of unknown cause, bone marrow culture, bone marrow smear to look for parasites, etc. Unable to walk immediately when platelet count is low, common with thrombocytopenic purpura, aplastic anemia, megaloblastic anemia, hypersplenism, etc. Therefore, platelet is lower than normal for a long time. The cause of thrombocytopenia should be carefully examined, such as simultaneous testing of red blood cells and white blood cells, or further testing of bone marrow to determine the cause, and then corresponding treatment after finding out the cause.
Bone marrow fluid smear is taken for examination during bone marrow puncture, and bone marrow biopsy is treated by bone marrow tissue and sectioned for examination. Some diseases (e.g. Leukemia can be diagnosed by a bone marrow biopsy alone, while some diseases (e.g. MDS, myelofibrosis, etc.) require a bone marrow biopsy.
