Copper tube aluminum tube water heater difference method:

The copper tube water tank of the same brand and the same capacity of the gas water heater must be larger than the weight of the aluminum tube, which can be felt by water handling the water heater, and the difference is very large;

Gas water heater can see the true essence of its material in its pipe head interface, the pipe head that this interface is the outlet place of water gas linkage valve is the entrance of cistern, non-hot water external interface, need to open water heater casing ability to see;

Each product will indicate the material of its product on the label for sale, and will tell the user that the material of the internal water tank is copper tube or aluminum tube;

Where the external pipe is connected with the internal pipe, the material of the internal pipe can also be seen. If the copper pipe is connected with the interface, the weld bead will be copper color. The welding pass connecting aluminum tube and interface is white;

Low-grade water heaters are easy to identify when replaced from the external interface. The hot water outlet uses a non-metallic interface with aluminum tubes inside.

Note: copper tube and aluminum tube water heater have various advantages, copper tube cost is high, not easy to corrosion; Aluminum tubes are relatively easy to corrode due to their low cost.
