Stainless Steel Laser Cut Hypotube

The Stainless Steel Laser Cut Hypotube is a small tube cut using a laser. It is used in catheter assemblies. These tubes are essential for minimally invasive procedures because they can be pushed, tracked, torqued, and kink-resistant.

Manners Technology lets you choose your own material for hypotubes. Hypotubes can be made from many materials, including 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, 17-7PH, MP35N, L605, and Ni-Ti. The hardness ranges from 20 to 50 HRC, depending on the material and how it is made.

In addition to laser-cut hypotubes, Manners Technology can also produce riveted hypotubes. As shown in the picture to the right, this type of hypotube requires manual riveting of the individual hypotube sections. It is better quality and reusable.

Hypotubes are cut from thin-walled tubes using a 5-axis laser cutting machine. This technology ensures higher precision, finer slits, and better edge quality. The slit width ranges from 15 to 30 micrometers, with a tolerance of 0.01mm.
