There are many reasons for the deformation of aluminum alloy parts, and the material, the shape of parts, technological conditions, the performance of cutting oil, etc. There are mainly the following aspects: deformation caused by stress in blank, deformation caused by cutting force and cutting heat, deformation caused by clamping force.
Two, reduce the workpiece deformation process measures
(1) reduce the internal stress of the blank
The internal stress of the blank can be partially eliminated by aging, vibration treatment or pre-processing, and the blank workpiece with large allowance will be deformed. If the redundant part of the blank is removed in advance to reduce the margin of each part, not only can reduce the deformation of the subsequent process, and placed for a period of time, but also can release a part of the internal stress.
(2) Reasonable selection of tool geometric parameters
Front Angle: under the condition of maintaining blade strength, the front Angle is appropriately selected to be larger. On the one hand, a sharp edge can be ground. On the other hand, the cutting deformation can be reduced to smooth chip discharge, thus reducing the cutting force and cutting temperature.
Back Angle: The size of the back Angle has a direct impact on the wear and surface quality of the back tool surface. Rough milling due to large feed, heavy cutting load, high heat, the requirements of the tool heat dissipation conditions, so the rear Angle should be smaller. When finishing milling, the cutting edge is required to be sharp, and the friction between the rear cutter surface and the surface is reduced to reduce the elastic deformation, so the rear Angle should be larger.
Helix Angle: in order to reduce the milling force smoothly, the helix Angle should be selected as large as possible.
