Pressure springs are installed on the bottom of the grooves. During quilting, the pressure spring pushes the oil stone to the inner wall of the round pipe, and the quilting mill drives the knife bar of the quilting head to rotate up and down to polish the inner wall of the pipe. In general, quilting machines have a much longer trip than vertical drills or rocker drills and can be used to process long precision stainless steel tubes. The vertical drill or rocker drill can only work short pipes. The precision of quilting can reach 0.01mm. Chemical polishing can only polish pipes with smooth inner wall, but it is not applicable to pipes with poor inner wall roughness.
