Thermocouple thermometer is the most widely used thermometer in industry at present, and it is also the most used thermometer in heat treatment production. Temperature measurement by thermocouple has the following characteristics:
High temperature measurement accuracy. Because the thermocouple is easy to achieve good thermal contact with the measured object, it can accurately reflect the temperature of the measured object.
L Simple structure. A usable thermocouple can be made by connecting two different conductors at one end to provide insulation and mechanical protection. It can be seen that the thermocouple structure is simple, so the assembly and maintenance is more convenient.
L Wide temperature range. Commonly used thermocouple temperature measurement range is 100 ~1600℃. The heat treatment temperature of general metal materials is in this range, so it can meet the temperature measurement requirements of heat treatment. Thermocouples made of special materials can also measure temperatures as low as 2K (-271℃) or as high as 2800℃.
L Fast dynamic response. Thermocouple can be made into small volume contacts, so the heat capacity is small, dynamic response speed is fast.
L Signal can be transmitted far, easy to centralized detection and automatic control.
