Protective stainless steel tube can be divided into three kinds according to its material:
1, metal: high mechanical strength, good thermal conductivity, very wide application.
2, non-metal: mostly used in temperature measurement above 1000℃, good heat resistance, poor vibration, poor thermal conductivity.
3, cermet: because of high mechanical strength of metal materials, but not high temperature resistance; Nonmetallic materials are resistant to high temperatures but have low mechanical strength. Cermet protective tube made by powder metallurgy has high temperature resistance and good mechanical strength. It has good application prospect and can be widely used in harsh environment such as molten steel, hot iron and high temperature salt bath furnace.
