Why is bending stainless steel tube a challenge?
Stainless steel 304 is difficult to bend or form, especially larger diameters, because it is harder, less ductile than other pipe materials, and tends to have thinner walls relative to the pipe diameter. Other materials with thin wall thicknesses relative to the pipe diameter can be equally difficult to bend and form.
