1. B-ultrasonography B-ultrasonography can show the soft tissue structure at all levels of the breast and the shape, size and echo of the mass. Fibroadenoma usually presents as a round or oval hypoechoic area with clear and neat boundary, uniform internal echo distribution, weak spot, complete posterior wall line, and lateral acoustic shadow. The echo behind the tumor is enhanced. If there is calcification, the sound shadow can appear behind the calcification point. 2. In mammography (commonly known as molybdenum target) patients with rich fat in the breast, fibroadenoma showed smooth edges and sharp circular shadows with uniform density. Some patients saw a thin translucent halo around the tumor body. Calcification occurs in a small number of tumors, which can be flaky or irregularly contours of coarse granular calcification, completely different from the fine granular calcification of breast cancer. In dense breast, the tumor is not clearly visible on X-ray film because of the similar density of breast tissue. Therefore, in young women, mammography should not be performed unless specifically necessary because of the relatively dense structure of the breast glands. 3. Magnetic resonance examination Magnetic resonance examination can not replace mammography and ultrasound examination of the breast and the corresponding lymphatic drainage area, the cost is also high, but it can detect the lesions that can not be detected by X-ray film and B ultrasound, and can carry out three-dimensional measurement and functional diagnosis, which greatly improves the diagnostic accuracy. 4. Needle biopsy may be considered when the diagnosis cannot be confirmed by clinical examination, including imaging examination. Fine needle aspiration cytology and empty core needle aspiration histology are commonly used. Fine needle aspiration cytology is less invasive and the diagnostic coincidence rate can reach more than 90%. The accuracy of hole-core needle puncture histology is higher. The vacuum-assisted breast biopsy system can perform minimally invasive resection and biopsy for small tumors, which has both diagnostic and therapeutic effects.
