4. Chronic pancreatitis

At present, all the laboratory tests or imaging tests for the diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis are difficult to determine early pancreatitis, and there is no gold standard for the diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis. Endoscopic ultrasonography can clearly show the parenchymal structure of the pancreas and small changes of the pancreatic duct, such as hyperecho in the pancreatic parenchyma, lobular structure of the glands, cystic changes, calcification, pancreatic duct dilatation, pancreatic duct stones and other signs. Endoscopic ultrasound is a sensitive tool for the diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis.
