Brachial plexus anesthesia belongs to nerve block anesthesia, which is one of the commonly used anesthesia methods in clinical practice. The brachial plexus consists mainly of the anterior branch of the spinal nerve from C5 to C8 and thoracic 1. It runs behind the subclavian artery and enters the axilla behind the clavicle. There are three clinical methods for brachial plexus block: 1. Intermuscular sulcus block. 2. Supraclavicular block. 3. Axillary block method.
