Puncture biopsy needle for lung tumor
Jan 26, 2023
The gold standard for the diagnosis of lung cancer is pathological diagnosis, which can be obtained by a variety of methods, the most commonly used being puncture biopsy. Puncture biopsy methods for lung tumors can be mainly divided into the following two types: 1. Biopsy of mass tissue under bronchoscope to determine its pathological type, which is most suitable for central type lung cancer; 2. 2. Under the guidance of CT, the puncture needle is inserted into the tumor, and then the tumor tissue section is taken for definite diagnosis. This method is suitable for tumors located around the lung. In addition, if the tumor is close to the pleura and the mass is large, ultrasound-guided needle biopsy can be performed to confirm the diagnosis.
