Generally, the injection is performed subcutaneously on the surface of the deltoid muscle or around the navel, or even in the thigh. Routinely use a 1ml syringe for injection. The angle of the needle is required to be 45 degrees from the skin, and the depth of the needle is required to be 1/2-2/3 of the needle. When the needle is pulled out after injection, use a cotton swab or cotton ball to press the needle site to prevent bleeding. If the insulin needle is used for subcutaneous injection, the needle is required to be inserted vertically due to the short needle. The needle should be removed only after the insulin liquid is completely released. After the needle is removed, a cotton ball should be pressed to stop the bleeding.
