Percutaneous trocar biopsy in the diagnosis and treatment of bone tumors

Objective To explore the significance of percutaneous trocar biopsy in the diagnosis and clinical treatment of bone tumors. Methods The pathological results of 40 cases of bone tumor patients undergoing needle biopsy and 20 cases of incision biopsy were analyzed retrospectively. Analyze the clinical significance of needle biopsy in the diagnosis and treatment of bone tumors. Results Of the 40 patients with puncture pathological diagnosis, a total of 3 cases did not give a clear pathological diagnosis, but 2 of them could be determined as benign in nature. The sensitivity of puncture in this group was 97.5% and the accuracy was 92.5%. Thirty-six cases with clear pathology after puncture were treated surgically, and 11 cases received conservative treatment or gave up treatment. No serious complications occurred during or after the puncture operation. Pathological diagnosis of 20 cases of incision biopsy 1 case did not give a clear pathological diagnosis, the sensitivity and accuracy of biopsy was 95%. All underwent surgical treatment. Conclusion Most skeletal system diseases can be clearly diagnosed by percutaneous needle biopsy. Aspiration biopsy is of great significance for the diagnosis and treatment of bone tumors, and it is an indispensable link in the standardized treatment of bone tumors.
