Operation method of bone marrow puncture

1. Select the location: select the puncture site for the anterior superior iliac spine, posterior superior iliac spine, sternum, and lumbar spinous process puncture point.

2. Disinfection and anesthesia: Routinely disinfect the skin, wear sterile gloves, spread a sterile hole towel, and use 2% lidocaine for local skin, subcutaneous and periosteal anesthesia.

3. Perform puncture: fix the bone marrow puncture needle holder to a certain length by puncture and suction, and puncture the needle perpendicularly to the bone surface with the right hand. After entering the bone marrow cavity, pull out the needle core, connect a dry 10ml or 20ml syringe, draw 0.1～0.2ml of bone marrow fluid and drop it on the glass slide with appropriate force. If you need to check the bone marrow fluid for bacteria, take another 1～2ml.
