Method of injecting bone marrow biopsy needle

1. Circumcision needle biopsy

There is a notch at the top of the needle cutting trocar, which is the spiral side knife of the needle. It is installed on the needle core. After the bone is penetrated, the needle core is pulled out, and then the extender is inserted, and the needle core is inserted and rotated clockwise. , After turning in 1 ~ 1.5 cm, and then rotating upwards in a clockwise direction to pull out the puncture needle. Pull out the needle core, enter the peripheral probe from the end of the trocar, carefully push the specimen onto a clean glass slide, and then fix it with 10% formalin for inspection. The bone marrow fluid on the slide is used for smear inspection.

2. Cyclindrical needle biopsy

After the bone marrow biopsy needle penetrates into the bone, the needle core is pulled out, and the trephine trocar is rotated clockwise, that is, the bone marrow tissue is screwed into the trocar. Generally, the trephine needle can be slowly pulled out by 1 to 1.5 cm deep. The bone marrow tissue is taken out and fixed with a probe.
