1. Select a puncture needle

(1) Cytological puncture needles: fine needles of 22, 21 and 20G (equivalent to domestic needles of 7, 8 and 9 sizes) are usually used, and 12 and 15cm in length are more suitable.

(2) Needle for histological examination: Porous barb biopsy needle or trough needle of Qin's were selected. The outer diameter is 0.9 ~ 1.2cm, and the length can be 15cm or 18cm.

2. The puncture position can be supine, lateral or prone according to the location of the lesion in the anterior or posterior chest wall.
