How to debug the machining function of CNC milling machine? How to determine the tool setting point for CNC milling machine processing?

1. Use precision level and other testing tools to fine-tune the level of the main bed of the CNC milling machine processing machine tool by adjusting the horn, so that the geometric accuracy of the machine tool reaches the allowable tolerance range;

2. For the automatic tool changer, adjust the tool magazine, manipulator position, stroke parameters, etc., and then use the instructions to check the action, and the requirements are correct;

3. For machine tools with APC automatic exchange table, the load is automatically exchanged after adjusting the relative position;

4. After the carton processing of the CNC milling machine is adjusted, carefully check whether the parameter settings in the CNC system and the programmable controller conform to the data specified in the random index, and then test the main operating functions, safety measures, and the execution of common instructions.

5. Check the normal operation of the auxiliary functions and accessories of the machine tool.

The tool setting point is the starting point of the movement of the tool relative to the workpiece during the machining of the CNC milling machine. Since the program is also executed from this point, the tool setting point is also called the program starting point or starting point.

When the machining accuracy is not high, some surfaces on the workpiece or fixture can be directly used as the tool setting surface; when the machining accuracy is high, the tool setting point should be selected on the design datum or process datum of the part as much as possible, such as hole positioning It is more appropriate to take the axis of the hole as the tool setting point. The tool setting point must have a certain coordinate relationship with the positioning datum of the workpiece. Only in this way can the CNC milling machine process determine the relationship between the machine tool standard system and the workpiece coordinate system. The selection of tool setting points for CNC milling machine processing should facilitate the calculation of coordinate values and make tool setting convenient. When setting the tool, make sure that the tool setting point coincides with the tool position point.

The so-called tool location point refers to the intersection of the tool axis and the bottom surface of the tool for flat-bottomed end mills; for ball end mills, it refers to the center of the ball part; for turning tools, it refers to the tip of the tool; for drills, it refers to the point of drill; machinery For wire electrode cutting machine tools, part processing refers to the focus of the wire electrode axis and the part surface.
