How to calculate the CNC processing price?

Three axis CNC machining center is my company independently developed a kind of economic and practical vertical machining center machine, has a high cost performance, reasonable structure, practical and efficient, easy to operate, widely used. So what is its quotation standard or basis?

Parts processing is generally carried out through CNC processing, but due to the low entry threshold of CNC processing, many CNC processing workshops in the market, but also caused uncertainty in price and quality, which has a great impact on some regular processing manufacturers. How do we judge the price of CNC machining center?

1. material

As with any type of manufacturing, the materials you are using affect the cost of processing. Some materials are harder to process than others, and some cost more as raw materials. Some materials are processed much more slowly than others, even with advances in modern tools and mechanical technology. Some materials can wear out the expensive, consumable cutting tools used more quickly, and can vary from one tool that makes hundreds or even thousands of parts to one that consumes multiple tools.

2. Dimensions of CNC machining parts

Part size and overall geometry are of course important factors in the quotation of machining operations. Obviously, the bigger the physical part, the more material it takes to make it. The more detailed and complex the geometric design, the more expensive it is to create. Parts that require very tight tolerances, long tool arrival, better surface finish or difficult geometry will all cost more than simpler parts.

3. CNC processing and manufacturing equipment needs

The machines needed to create the parts can greatly affect the cost. Can a CNC machining center use a multi-axis machine to complete the parts, or do you need multiple machines? How many different machines and operations are needed? What size machine is needed? Modern processing and manufacturing equipment is very expensive and varies with machine type, brand, quality, size and capability. Each of these factors must be considered in determining the exact cost of a part or product.

4. Processing other than CNC

Many processed products require additional treatments such as heat treatment, special processing operations, surface treatments and specialized coatings. All these requirements will increase the cost of the base product, and their necessity and value should be assessed.

5. Skills of CNC processing operators

More complex machining jobs require the expertise of more trained and skilled mechanics. The skill and experience of a talented mechanic is not without cost and for good reason. Regardless of any formal training program, there is no substitute for on-the-job experience and on-the-job training.

Specific CNC machining price calculation: CNC lathe processing fee: the standard algorithm is working hours * wages per working hour + should be apportion of fixed costs, such as depreciation costs. The processing fee of general CNC machining center is 40-50 yuan per hour. Machine tool about 1 meter, ordinary vertical plus machine tool. The local price of less machine tools slightly increased 10 yuan. Of course, according to the processing capacity of the machine, the price will be different.
