High pressure resistant coreless safety needle for long-term infusion

The high-quality high-pressure-resistant safety needle for the access port is suitable for long-term infusion of chemotherapy, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), antibiotic therapy, blood transfusion and blood sampling. It can also be used for Y-site and pre-connected Caresite(R).

The intuitive safety mechanism minimizes the risk of needle stick injuries and complies with the safety equipment guidelines of European Directive 2010/32/EU. The beveled design allows the needle to easily penetrate the septum while eliminating coring and promoting the closure of the septum after the needle is removed. Power injection can also be used to inject contrast media during CT scans (maximum recommended pressure is 325 psi).
