1. Renal biopsy

Renal puncture is the method of renal pathological diagnosis. There are two main methods: open biopsy and transcutaneous biopsy. The latter method is widely used at home and abroad.

2. The liver biopsy

1) Difference between focal fatty liver and tumor.

2) To explore some rare diseases, such as cholesteryl ester storage disease, glycogen storage disease, etc.

3) Asymptomatic suspicious non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, liver biopsy is one of the diagnostic methods.

4) Alcoholic liver disease or unexplained clinical or biochemical abnormalities after abstinence.

5) If liver enzyme abnormalities persist in obese patients after 10% weight loss, liver biopsy should be performed to find other causes.

6) Anyone suspected not to be solely hepatocellular adipose disease or suspected to be caused by multiple causes.

3. Breast cancer biopsy

Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in women. Mammography can reveal some small lesions of the breast. To determine the nature of these lesions, surgical biopsy of the breast is required. Mammary gland under X-ray stereotaxic coarse needle biopsy (SCNB Stereotacticneedlecorebiopsy) as one of diagnosis methods developed in recent years, has been widely valued.

4. Prostate biopsy

Transrectal ultrasound-guided needle biopsy of the prostate is used to obtain the tissue needed for pathological diagnosis at a specific location of the prostate.

Puncture biopsy should be performed if:

1) prostate-specific antigen (PSA) over 4ng/dl.

2) Anal finger diagnosis of prostate nodules.

3) Abnormal prostate ultrasound examination.

4) Metastatic adenocarcinoma, whose primary lesion is suspected to be prostate cancer.

5. Lung biopsy

Lung biopsy is safe, accurate, simple and reliable, which provides a very scientific and practical method for differential diagnosis and treatment. It is mainly applicable to the following situations:

1) Abnormal echogenic masses can be seen in the surrounding lung tissues and mediastinum by ultrasound.

2) Failure of fiberoptic bronchoscopy biopsy for peripulmonary or mediastinal diseases due to various reasons.

3) Pathological examination is necessary in order to select a treatment plan.

4) To understand the primary source of metastatic cancer.

(5) The pathological nature of the pulmonary inflammatory mass must be determined, and it can be treated by channeling drugs.

6) With systemic metastasis, chemotherapy drugs and biological preparations are injected into the mediastinum and peripulmonary masses to prolong the life of patients.
