Embedding needle to correct sagging and sagging skin of the lower and middle face

Objective To investigate the improvement of sagging skin of middle and lower face by embedding Poly P-dioxanone (PPDO) serrated line. Methods: According to the sagging condition of the skin of the middle and lower face, the position and number of the embedded lifting line were determined. The PPDO line was inserted into the needle point from the hairline edge of the temporal part and the anterior edge of the ear, and buried in the superficial muscular aponeurosis (SMAS) layer, pulling the lifting line, and cutting off the end of the line. Results: In 35 cases, sagging of middle and lower face was improved. The postoperative follow-up lasted from 3 months to 1 year, with an average of 9 months. The facial skin was flat and the lifting line could not be touched. The effect was stable. Conclusion: PPDO lifting line embedded in the middle and lower face can effectively improve skin laxity and less surgical complications, which is worthy of popularization and application.
