Does radiofrequency ablation needle belong to insurance mild disease
Nov 14, 2022
Do not belong to.
Cardiac radiofrequency ablation is an interventional technique in which electrode catheters are sent to specific parts of the heart cavity through veins or arteries, and radiofrequency current is released to cause coagulation necrosis of local endocardial and subendocardial myocardium, thus blocking the abnormal conduction bundles and origin points of tachyardia. The radio-frequency current introduced into the heart cavity through the catheter has a damage range of 1-3 mm, which will not cause harm to the body. Radiofrequency ablation has become the most effective method for radical treatment of paroxysmal tachycardia. Basic equipment includes X-ray machine, radiofrequency ablation instrument and electrophysiological examination instrument.
Therefore, radiofrequency ablation is a relatively effective surgical method for tachycardia, but the corresponding disease situation is not serious, and does not belong to the range of mild diseases stipulated by the current insurance company. At present, the mild cases generally include: coronary intervention surgery, heart valve intervention surgery, early primary cardiomyopathy, pacemaker implantation, pericardiectomy, etc. Radiofrequency ablation is not included in this list of mild and severe diseases.
