Copper Aluminum Brass Small Diameter Tube

Aug 30, 2021

Manners provides copper and copper alloys (including brass) and aluminum tubes. These alloys are used in a variety of applications, including industrial, electronics, construction, and various consumer applications. Although the purpose of each alloy is specific to the application requirements, all the tube alloys on this page are very easy to shape and relatively easy to draw due to the physical properties of its basic elements. Other alloys can be provided according to customer requirements.

Copper 102 & Copper 122 tube

These high copper alloys (greater than 99% copper) have excellent forming characteristics and are only sold as seamless pipe products. Popular applications include microwave tubes, sealed tubes, and electrical applications (except C122, whose phosphorus content hinders conductivity) and gas pipelines. Both alloys have good brazing and welding properties and can meet assembly requirements.

C10200 OFHC copper alloy tube (C102)-has excellent electrical conductivity, especially suitable for soldering and brazing, and easy to cold work or hot forming.

C12200 OFHC Copper Alloy Tube (C122)-Provides low conductivity due to the phosphorus content in the alloy, especially suitable for welding and brazing. Both copper alloys have a seamless structure.

Copper pipe size range

Manners provides copper pipes with outer diameters ranging from 030" to 0.3125" or can be customized according to customer drawings.

Aluminum 3000 & 6000 series

Aluminum tubes are lightweight, cost-effective, and easy to form and process. They are popular in a variety of applications including aerospace and industry. 3003 aluminum is close to pure aluminum, and the alloy contains manganese, mainly for strength reasons. The 6000 series is the most popular aluminum alloy in pipes, relying on manganese and silicon as the key alloy components of the aluminum base. ASTM B-210 is the universally required standard for these two series. The 6000 series are usually sold as T-6 (hard) tempered. The main difference between 6000 and 3000 series aluminum is that the 6000 series can be heat treated to increase strength.

Aluminum tube size range

Manners supplies aluminum tubes with outer diameters from 030" to 2.0" or can be customized according to customer drawings.

Brass 260

This very malleable metal is composed of 70% copper and the rest zinc and can be used in corrosive environments, suitable for a wide range of applications from electrical parts and ammunition shells to decorative hardware or other industrial/consumer applications. ASTM B-135 is a general standard used to specify brass tubes. All our brass tubes are seamless in structure.

Brass tube size range

Manners can provide brass tubes with outer diameters from 030" to 0.750" or can customize products according to customer drawings.
