The seawall tube is a long metal tube with microengineering characteristics throughout its pipe. It is an important component of minimally invasive catheters that need to be used with balloons and stents to open clogged arteries. The balloon part of the catheter is attached to the distal end of the sea wave tube. The sea wave tube enters the body and pushes the balloon along long, convoluted blood vessels toward the clogged artery. In this process, the tubes need to avoid kinking while moving smoothly through the structure of the human body (propelling, tracking and turning).
