So why are copper nuts used in daily production activities? Because copper nuts are not easy to rust, corrosion resistance, easy heat conduction and strong electrical conductivity and other advantages, generally used for rust prevention, high temperature, electrical conductivity and other use environment, such as water taps, valves, electrical switches and so on.

The other main use of copper nuts is for injection molding. They are heated and embedded in plastic parts or directly moulded for injection, as mentioned earlier.

Brass has good thermal conductivity, such as the use of heated copper nut embedded, on the one hand, the copper nut can quickly become hot to speed up the work efficiency, on the other hand, the heated copper nut can quickly transfer heat to plastic parts, so that the plastic hole surrounding soft, conducive to pressing into the hole; So, if the use of mold injection molding effect will be what? As we all know, the melting point of PA/NYLOY/PET is above 200°C, and the temperature of copper nut is rapidly increased after being hot melted into plastic parts. After injection molding, the plastic body is rapidly cooled and crystallized and hardened. If the temperature of copper nut is still at high temperature, what will be the result? As a result, the copper nut is loose or cracked in contact with the plastic part. Therefore, copper nuts rather than steel nuts are used for injection molding.
