Lead melts at 500 degrees and vaporizes at 1,000 degrees, whereas stainless steel softens at 1,600 degrees and melts at 1,800 degrees, and by the time the stainless steel reaches the melting point, lead is already vaporized. The two simply cannot coexist.

And stainless steel because of high hardness machining difficulty, so the cost of light processing is ten times that of brass. So the price of a stainless steel faucet is much cheaper than a brass faucet.
