The junction box is where the cold end of the thermocouple is connected to the connecting wire (compensation wire). It is cast from aluminum alloy. In the junction box, the cold ends of the thermocouple are fastened to the junction post respectively with screws in advance. When wiring, the connecting wire is led into the junction box through the outlet hole, the junction box is opened, and the wires are fastened to the two junction posts marked with positive and negative marks with screws, and then the junction box is covered. In order to prevent harmful gas from entering the thermocouple protection tube, the outlet hole and cover of ordinary junction box are sealed with gaskets and gaskets. According to the sealing degree of different junction boxes, there are ordinary, sealed (or splash proof), waterproof, explosion-proof and flameproof type.
