Tubing cold flaring:
Once the pipe section has been cut to a certain length and deburred, it can be reamed.
The simplest method we have found so far is to slide a 0.012 inch support line into the tube and bend the line slightly to keep it in position in the tube. Use the end of the pin vice to firmly clamp the tube just beyond the jaw of the pin vice (about 1-2 pipe diameters). Place the support line in a slightly recessed position from the end of the tube (even use a needle vise to clamp or go slightly deeper. Make sure the pipe is clamped tightly with pin vice.
