Whether Nerve Block Puncture Needle Can Replace Other Anesthesia Methods
Dec 02, 2022
Nerve block is a hot research hotspot in recent years, but it has its limitations. Nerve block can not completely replace other anesthesia methods, and it is suitable for all surgeries. Nerve blocks can be given to patients after endotracheal intubation under general anesthesia, and the patient has no pain, which is the icing on the cake. For example, for a patient with a humeral fracture, after endotracheal intubation under general anesthesia, a nerve block in the brachial plexus, the patient is more comfortable than the brachial plexus block alone, the patient wakes up much more comfortable. Because there is no pain after the arm is numbed off, it is equivalent to waking up after the operation and the hand is not painful. Nerve block cannot replace other anesthesia methods, but it can be applied in many surgeries.
