What Tool Does Turning Stainless Steel Use

One, turning stainless steel with what knife has the following two situations:
1, stainless steel hardness is low and its stick knife is low, the general use of cemented carbide tool, turning speed is slightly higher, the feed amount is appropriate, conditional additional coolant.
2, stainless steel hardness is higher or stick knife high, the use of diamond tool. High turning speed, less feed, additional coolant.
Two, the machinability is much worse than the carbon steel, with ordinary 45 steel cutting machinability as 100%, austenitic stainless steel 1Cr18Ni9Ti relative machinability is 40%; Ferritic stainless steel 1Cr28 is 48%; Martensitic stainless steel 2Cr13 is 55%. Among them, the machinability of austenitic and austenitic + ferritic stainless steels is the worst.
