What Does It Mean To Have A Kidney Puncture Needle in Medicine
Dec 16, 2022
A kidney biopsy is a test for kidney disease.
Renal aspiration is also known as renal aspiration biopsy. Due to the wide variety of renal diseases, complicated etiology and pathogenesis, the clinical manifestations of many renal diseases are not completely consistent with the histological changes of the kidney. That's when a renal puncture is needed.
After urination, the patient undergoing renal aspiration lay prone on the examination table, with a pillow with a diameter of 10-15cm and a length of 50-6-cm placed on the abdomen. The kidney was pushed to the dorsal side for fixation, arms were extended forward, and the head was tilted to the side.
Generally, the lower part of the right kidney is selected as the puncture point, and the puncture point is taken as the center. The back skin is disinfected and the sterile towel is spread. Imaging was performed with a sterile B-ultrasound probe and local anesthesia was administered with 1-2% lidocaine. A 10cm intracardial injection needle was inserted vertically into the renal sac from the puncture point, and a small amount of local anesthesia was injected.
When the lower pole of the kidney moved to the optimal position for puncture, the patient was left breathless. Immediately, the needle was quickly inserted into the kidney 2-3cm, the needle was pulled out, and the patient was instructed to breathe normally.
Check whether the kidney tissue was obtained, and measure its length, and observe more than 5 glomeruli under the anatomical microscope, light microscopy, electron microscopy, immunofluorescence. If no kidney tissue can be repeated. Generally 2-3 times is appropriate.
