PTC Percutaneous Hepatic Puncture Cholangiography

percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography (PTC): cutaneous cutaneous transhepatic cholangiography (PTC): Puncture needle with plastic tube sheath or Chiba fine puncture needle was applied from the right midaxillary line or anterior approach, supervised by X-ray TV or B-type ultrasound instrument, into the intrahepatic bile duct. Re-injection of contrast agent can clearly show the internal and external hepatic bile duct, and can understand the location, degree and scope of the lesions in the bile duct, which is helpful for the differentiation of jaundice. It is mainly used in patients with obstructive jaundice to understand the location, scope and cause of biliary tract obstruction.
