As disposable invasive sterile medical devices, medical pencil point spinal needles have extremely strict requirements on production technology, precision processing and sterile quality control. Product quality directly determines clinical surgical safety and patient health. Raw material screening and pretreatment are the first barrier of product quality. All pencil point spinal needles use imported medical-grade stainless steel raw materials, which have passed strict biocompatibility testing, cytotoxicity testing and corrosion resistance testing. The raw materials have uniform texture, stable hardness and good ductility, which can meet the precision bending and puncture mechanical requirements of fine-gauge needles. Before formal production, all raw materials undergo secondary inspection and surface purification treatment to remove impurities and oxide layers, ensuring that the needle body surface is smooth and free of contaminants, and avoiding biological risks in clinical use.
Precision CNC processing technology determines the core performance of products. The pencil point tapered tip is processed by high-precision numerical control equipment with a processing accuracy of 0.01mm, ensuring that the taper gradient of each needle tip is uniform and the tissue separation effect is consistent. The needle tube adopts seamless stretching technology to ensure uniform inner and outer diameter, no tube body deformation and blockage. The matching needle core is processed by precision grinding technology to achieve zero-gap fitting with the needle tube, ensuring tight sealing during puncture and drug delivery. At the same time, automated color code spraying and calibration technology is adopted to ensure accurate and consistent color identification of each gauge specification, avoiding model confusion.
Sterile disinfection and packaging management are the core links of clinical safety guarantee. All finished semi-finished products are disinfected by ethylene oxide (EO) sterile disinfection technology. The disinfection temperature, pressure and time parameters are strictly controlled in accordance with international medical standards to completely kill microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses on the product surface without damaging the mechanical properties and material stability of the needle body. After disinfection, the products are placed in a sterile dust-free workshop for standing and residual gas detection to ensure that the residual ethylene oxide content is lower than the safe threshold. Each needle is independently packaged in a sterile blister pack to avoid secondary pollution.
Finished product testing and standardized packaging form a complete quality closed loop. Before leaving the factory, all products undergo random sampling inspection, including mechanical performance test, sterile test, specification consistency test and biocompatibility re-inspection. Unqualified products are completely eliminated. The products adopt standard export carton packaging, and support personalized packaging customization according to customer requirements.
