Special attention should be paid to whether the patient is using retinoid drugs, anticoagulant drugs, or immunosuppressants. Skin examination is also indispensable: through dermoscopy or VISIA analysis, evaluate the skin barrier function, inflammatory state, and pigment level. Avoid getting wet and applying makeup within 24 hours after the surgery, and refrain from using functional skin care products within 48 hours. The focus of care within the first week after the surgery is on repair and sun protection: use products containing repair ingredients such as ceramides, panthenol, and comfrey glycosides, strictly avoiding exposure to ultraviolet rays, and when going out, mainly use hard sun protection measures (hats, masks, sun umbrellas). Within two weeks after the surgery, it is prohibited to use exfoliating products and retinoid components, and avoid saunas, strenuous exercise, and alcohol consumption.
Management of Side Effects
For the existing side effects, a graded management strategy is of crucial importance. Mild erythema and edema do not require special treatment and usually resolve on their own; moderate reactions can be intervened with cold compresses, LED yellow light, or low-energy laser; severe reactions such as extensive blisters, signs of infection, or persistent inflammation should be immediately attended to by a dermatologist and handled by them. Pigmentation can be treated early with tranexamic acid, azelaic acid, or low-concentration hydroquinone, combined with strict sun protection; stubborn pigmentation can be considered for treatment with picosecond laser therapy.
Industry Self-Regulation
Industry self-regulation is also indispensable. Regulatory authorities should accelerate the formulation of technical standards for microneedle operations and a qualification certification system for practitioners. Industry associations should promote the establishment of a reporting system for adverse events, collect and analyze side effect data, and provide evidence-based support for clinical practice.

Scientifically avoiding side effects is not a restriction on the technology, but rather a guarantee to make the technology better serve humanity.
