Jun 06, 2014
In recent years, due to advances in basic medicine, imaging, clinical research, and medical and surgical treatments (including organ transplants), people’s understanding of liver diseases has become more and more in-depth. Among them, liver pathology plays a pivotal role. Liver pathology is the cornerstone of people's understanding of liver diseases, and people's understanding of the concept and classification of liver diseases is also based on morphological features. So far, percutaneous liver biopsy is still regarded as the most important traumatic examination method in clinical hepatology. The description of the characteristics of the obtained specimen under the microscope is the most direct observation of the pathological process of the patient. Therefore, in order to improve the diagnosis and treatment of various liver diseases in our hospital, and to cooperate with the scientific research work of our hospital, liver biopsy is now being carried out. Liver biopsy (Liverbiopsy), referred to as liver biopsy, is a simple method to take liver tissue samples. Histological examination of the tissue mass obtained from the puncture is made into smears for cytological examination to identify unexplained hepatomegaly and certain blood system diseases.
There are many puncture methods for liver biopsy, such as general liver puncture, trocar puncture, lobular needle aspiration, rapid liver puncture, etc. These methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. The first three are more likely to cause liver damage or bleeding; the latter is a suction biopsy needle, which is safer and is mostly used clinically.
