Epidural space is a narrow space between the dura mater and the periosteum and ligamentum flavum on the inner surface of the spinal canal, called epidural space. There are loose connective tissue, adipose tissue, lymphatic vessels, intraspinal venous plexus, and spinal nerve roots through it. It does not communicate with the lower intracranial cavity and presents slightly negative pressure.
