Manners compound spinal epidural needle is a combination of Manners and trocar spinal needle design.

It has a posterior eye cavity at the heel of the Tuohy slope, allowing the spinal needle with a sleeve to pass through. Since needle-to-needle contact is avoided, this provides a better sense of touch for the anesthesia provider.

As the spinal needle advances through the Tuohy needle, its unique centering sleeve aligns the spine with the posterior eye cavity to help prevent excessive bending.

The epidural catheter passes the Tuohy curve away from the dural puncture site to reduce the chance of intrathecal catheter placement.

Manners provides flexibility with a variety of combined epidural anesthesia needles, allowing you to easily convert existing epidural trays to meet your unique needle and catheter needs.
