All radiofrequency thermal ablation vertical cutting is composed of generator, measurement and control unit, electrode needle, skin electrode and computer. The system forms a closed loop that connects the needle electrode to the patient's skin electrode. The measurement and control unit automatically adjusts the output power of radiofrequency ablation by monitoring the changes of tumor tissue impedance, temperature and other parameters, so that tumor tissue can rapidly produce a large range of coagulation necrosis. Ablation electrode is the core part of radiofrequency ablation instrument because it directly affects the size and shape of coagulation necrosis. The ideal solidification zone shape should be spherical or oblate. Under the guidance of B ultrasound or CT, the multi-needle electrode was directly inserted into the lesion tissue mass, and the radiofrequency electrode needle could make the temperature in the tissue exceed 60℃, resulting in cell death and necrosis area. If the local tissue temperature exceeds 100℃, tumor tissue and parenchyma surrounding organs will undergo coagulation necrosis, and a large spherical coagulation necrosis area can be produced during treatment. Besides the coagulation necrosis area, there is also a hyperthermia area of 43~60℃, in which cancer cells can be killed and normal cells can be recovered.
