Manners filter needles are designed to help workflow and meet all drug preparation needs. The design of the filter needle focuses on improving patient safety. The 5 micron molded filter membrane eliminates the risk of particulate contamination, which usually causes patients to suffer from infusion-related phlebitis. When using glass ampoules, the filter needle can safely aspirate, reconstitute and transfer the liquid without causing danger to the patient. The Manners configuration meets the requirements of some drug manufacturers, and they recommend placing the liquid on the side of the container for more effective suction. To this end, Manners is equipped with a side port of the cannula to prevent the drug from foaming or spraying powdered drugs. For added convenience, the needle has a color-coded protective cover.
