Generally, 3-5 tissues are punctured and then sent for pathological examination to determine the nature of the lesion. Puncture is also performed under local anesthesia. Local puncture is done with a thick needle. The diameter of the thick needle for breast puncture is about 3 mm, and there is a hollow cannula in the middle.
