(3) Imaging examination: ultrasound can measure the size, internal echo, color blood flow distribution of the thyroid gland, observe whether there are nodules, nodules size, whether there is calcification, etc., to assist in the judgment of thyroid masses and benign and malignant.

For thyroid space-occupying diseases, thyroid CT is necessary. If CT cannot confirm the diagnosis, ultrasound-guided puncture case biopsy can be performed to further confirm the diagnosis. For example, fibronenoma can be removed locally. If it is thyroid cancer, radical thyroidectomy is required.
