Unexplained increase or decrease in the number of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets and morphological abnormalities. The diagnosis and differential diagnosis of unexplained fever can be used for bone marrow culture and bone marrow smear to find parasites. Bone marrow biopsy should be performed during multiple dry aspirations. Bone marrow aspiration should not be performed in patients with hemophilia. Bone marrow puncture should be performed with caution in women in late pregnancy, and sternocentesis should not be performed in children and uncooperative patients.
