The distal tip of the Jamshidi marrow acquisition cradle features a unique surface finish to further enhance specimen retention. A lightweight ejector rod is provided to facilitate sample size verification. The marrow acquisition cradle also helps ensure user safety by eliminating the need to remove the sample directly from the needle through the sharp distal tip, which poses a potential needlestick hazard.
