Why do we use pipe plugs for endoscope gas disinfection?

After using the endoscope, it should be immediately wiped with wet gauze to remove the dirt on the external surface, and repeatedly pumped with air and water for at least 10 seconds. (1) Put the endoscope into the cleaning tank:

1. Rinse thoroughly under running water, scrub the endoscopic surface repeatedly with gauze, and clean the operating part at the same time;

2. Remove the biopsy inlet valve, aspirator button, air supply and water supply buttons, and thoroughly scrub the aspirator pipe of the biopsy hole and light guide hose with a cleaning brush. The brush head must be seen at both ends during scrubbing, and the dirt on the brush head must be washed.

3. Install the all-pipe irrigator, pipe plug, waterproof cap and aspirator, and use the aspirator to repeatedly aspirate the biopsy hole;

4. The all-pipeline irrigator is connected with a 50ml syringe, which can suck clean water and inject it into the air supply and water supply pipes;

5. Blot the biopsy orifice with an aspirator and dry the endoscopic surface.

(2) Rinse the removed aspirator button, air supply button, water supply button and biopsy inlet valve with clean water and wipe dry.

(3) After using the endoscopic accessories such as biopsy forceps, cell brush, incision knife, guide wire, broken stone tool, net basket, angiography catheter, foreign body forceps, etc., put them in clean water first, wash the inside surface of the forceps flap and joint with a small brush, and wipe dry after cleaning.

(4) The gauze shall be cleaned in a disposable manner, and the cleaning brush shall be disinfected as soon as it is used.

Second, the enzyme washing

(1) The configuration and soaking time of multi-enzyme lotion shall be in accordance with the product instructions.

(2) The dried endoscope was placed in the enzyme wash tank, 100 ml of multi-enzyme wash solution was aspirated by injection, and the air and water supply pipe was washed. The enzyme wash solution was inhaled into the biopsy hole with an aspirator, and the operation part was wiped with multi-enzyme wash solution.

(3) The dried accessories, buttons and valves shall be soaked in multi-enzyme solution, and the accessories shall be cleaned in the ultrasonic cleaner for 5-10 minutes.
