English Polyethylene terephthalate is short for PET or PETP. Polyterephthalate plastics, mainly including polyethylene terephthalate PET and polybutylene terephthalate PBT. Polyethylene terephthalate is also known as polyester resin, commonly known as polyester resin. It is a condensation of terephthalic acid with ethylene glycol, together with PBT collectively known as thermoplastic polyester, or saturated polyester.
