Angiography is the gold standard for the diagnosis of vascular diseases, whether arterial or venous. Angiography requires arterial or venous puncture. Commonly used puncture points in clinic include femoral artery puncture point and radial artery puncture point, as well as femoral vein puncture point and jugular puncture point. Clinically, dynamic angiography can well clarify the nature of vascular diseases, lesion site, stenosis degree and whether there is thrombosis. Meanwhile, angiography is the first step of interventional therapy. According to the judgment of angiography, interventional therapy can be evaluated. If it is clear that interventional treatment can be performed by angiography, the next step of interventional treatment can be performed after communication with family members and patients, including balloon dilation, stent implantation, vascular embolization, etc.
