What is cardiography?

The so-called cardiovascular angiography is the rapid injection of iodine contrast agent into the vein or artery, or directly into the heart and aorta through the catheter, so that the heart and aorta development, and the rapid photography will be the heart and great blood vessel development all filmed for analysis, it is a diagnosis of heart and great blood vessel disease imaging technology. By observing the filling condition and developing sequence of the heart cavity and great vessels, we can understand the anatomical condition of the shape, size, position and connection relationship of the great vessels in the heart cavity. For example, doctors can determine the size of large blood vessels, whether there are structural malformations of the heart and the size of inner blood vessels, whether there are structural malformations of the heart and blood shunt in the heart, and also find the size, shape and location of thrombus by cardiovascular angiography. It is the "gold index" for diagnosing congenital heart malformations and certain large vascular diseases. Indications and contraindications of cardiovascular angiography: Indications include some congenital cardiovascular malformation and acquired cardiovascular diseases. The contraindications are: (1) Allergy to iodine and other allergic diseases. (2) Severe liver disease and kidney disease. (3) Severe cardiomyopathy and coronary artery circulation disorders, such as coronary heart disease. (4) Severe hypoxia and heart failure. The main methods of cardiovascular angiography are as follows: ① venous method: contrast agent is injected through subcutaneous vein puncture, which is performed according to physiological circulation. Because the development is not satisfactory, the diagnosis is still limited. ② Intubation method: mainly includes venous intubation method and arterial intubation method. Venous intubation is a method of placing a catheter selectively into a specific lumen of a large cardiac vessel through a vein and injecting contrast agent to develop it. This method has been widely used in the diagnosis of right heart, pulmonary artery and right-to-left shunt diseases. Arterial intubation means placing a catheter through the artery into the aorta or the left atrial ventricle and injecting contrast agent to develop the image. This method has been widely used in the diagnosis of the aorta, left ventricle and left-to-right shunt diseases.
